Before You Root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU
- This method is only for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU (Don’t try in any other smartphone).
- Make sure your device is at least 60% charged.
- Create a backup of all your important data.
- Download USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU from Here.
- Enable USB Debugging in your device. Click Here if you don’t know how to enable it.
Download Required Files to Root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T230/T230NU
- Root Package Zip File (Contain both the ODIN and TWRP recovery files)
How To Flash TWRP And Root Your Device:
- Follow all the instruction given above for safe rooting.
- Download and extract the downloaded zip file in your PC.
- Boot your device into Download Mode, by pressing and holding Power + Vol down+ Home and connect to computer with usb cable.
- Now run Odin 3.09 (as administrator) and select AP and then select the openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-degas.tar file
- Hit start in Odin and as soon as Odin is finished the device turns off for reboot DONT let android boot, quickly press Power + Volume Up + Home to boot into TWRP recovery.
- Now press Reboot > System and then slide to install root.
- When device has rebooted to android, open superuser installer app and follow instructions to update then install su binary updates then reboot.
- Download and install Busybox from Google Play.
