- This method is only for HTC One M7.
- You have to root your device first.
- Install Custom Recovery in your device first.
- Make sure your device is charged at least 60%.
- Create a backup of all your important data.

How To Install Custom ROM of Android 5.0 Lollipop In HTC One M7
- Follow all the steps given above for safe installation.
- Make sure your device is rooted and custom recovery is installed.
- Download the Custom ROM and GApps files and transfer them in internal memory of your device. (If you’re using S-ON, you need to extract the zip of the ROM take the boot.img and put it separately along with the rom zip in the SD card.)
- Now boot your device into Recovery Mode.
- Create a backup of your current ROM.
- After creating backup wipe everything (System / Data / Cache / Dalvik).
- Do this step only if you’re using S-ON Flash the boot.img via fastboot.
- Now select Install, browse and select the Custom ROM zip file and flash it.
- After flashing Custom ROM file, flash GApps zip file too.
- Once the flashing is complete, restart your device.
- First boot will take longer than usual boot.
- Root is disabled by default on CM12. To enable it go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
